Alyssa’s Light
Student-Athlete
Wellness Scholarship
Your impact goes beyond the game. If you’re a Colorado student-athlete who lifts up your teammates and makes a difference in your community, we encourage you to apply for the $1,000 Alyssa’s Light Student-Athlete Scholarship, offered in partnership with Colorado Positive Athlete.
This scholarship grew from a full-circle moment. Emily Peterson was named a Colorado Positive Athlete for Soccer. Inspired by that recognition, she helped create an opportunity to celebrate another student-athlete in memory of her sister, Alyssa Peterson. When Emily presents the scholarship, she will honor Alyssa’s memory and celebrate a student-athlete who leads with heart on and off the field.
