Wellness Scholarship
Established in memory of Alyssa Peterson, this $1,000 college scholarship recognizes a Colorado student-athlete who demonstrates compassion, resilience, and leadership while working to improve the mental, emotional, or physical well-being of fellow student-athletes through advocacy, awareness, service, or support.
Alyssa’s Light is proud to offer this $1,000 scholarship in Alyssa’s memory through Colorado Positive Athlete. The partnership is especially meaningful to our family: Alyssa’s sister, Emily Peterson, was recognized as a Colorado Positive Athlete for Soccer in 2026. Now, through the same program, Alyssa’s Light will award a scholarship to another Colorado student-athlete who reflects Alyssa’s spirit of compassion and care for others.
