Coming Soon: Family Concussion Care Kits
After a concussion, families may have questions about what to expect and how to support recovery. Alyssa’s Light is developing bilingual Family Concussion Care Kits to provide practical support, trusted information, and reassurance during a young person’s recovery.
Each kit is designed to include practical comfort and sensory-support items, along with medically reviewed educational materials explaining concussion symptoms, emotional and behavioral changes, warning signs, and when to seek additional care. Together, these resources help families navigate both the physical and emotional aspects of recovery.
Interested in helping bring these kits to families? Please contact Alyssa’s Light at info@AlyssasLight.org to learn about supporting or partnering with this initiative.
